K-12 educators play a critical role in helping students learn to sort good information from bad. But, many educators lack the time and resources they need to incorporate instruction on these skills into their curriculum.

At Co-designing for Trust, we’re working with a group of high school teachers and teacher-librarians from across Washington state to create a wide range of resources, from quick guides to ready-to-go lessons, to help educators equip students with the skills they need to navigate complex information environments. These teachers have told us they need lessons that meet their standards, activities that ask students to look more closely at their own responses to the media, and easy ways to learn about the media their students are navigating – from TikTok to AI.

You can see some of these resources below. We encourage you to adapt these lessons to fit your own classrooms and communities and let us know how they work for you.
